Crisis Simulations:
Essentially, the club will be divided into teams that represent different countries or groups. I will then throw random crises at you (like earthquakes, outbreaks, etc.), and you will need to solve them diplomatically and ideally not end in nuclear annihilation.
1) Himalayan Border Conflicts:

Teams: India, Pakistan, China (note that all three have nuclear weapons)
Make sure you read the articles provided at the end of the presentation by the end of the first semester. Pay special attention to the first three and the last two articles which explain the history of the conflicts and recent events in India. Be sure to also understand the Sino-Indian border disputes as well.
